Sep 26, 2013 4:51 PM in response to SSNNYYby RHYC,I took your suggestion and update to 7.0.2 and the problem has been resolved.
iWork apps and other apps can now sync files again.
Many thanks!

Sep 26, 2013 4:59 PM in response to Amztionby RobCass,I did upgrade to the 7.0.2 this afternoon at about 2 pm CST. I tried both iCloud, iPhone 5 and iPad and they were still not working. Now four hours later it is working.
A few notes:
1) When I saw it worked on my mac/iCloud, I looked at Number and pages on my iPhone and it was still not syncing. As soon as I opened a document on my iPhone 5, they I saw the document icons change and start to sync...needed a little kick to check the cloud maybe?
2) I have Pages and Numbers on all my iDevices and notice that some had a secondary instance of the same files (Same datetime stamp as well too (FilenameX and Filename x2). I just deleted those duplicates because it did not take long.
3) I did receive a call back from Apple at about 3 PM CST, saying my support person will be calling me back tomorrow. Wonder if he is going to be checking if it worked, but wanted to give it some time for me to upgrade as well as the servers to sync back up.
4) Most importantly, and I am going to ask tomorrow when they call, is when is this going to be out of Beta. I see both the website and the iOS apps are still the old look as well as the banner of 'Beta' on iCloud.com. I feel a little nervous leaving my docs out there now until at least the beta is over. I am a bit spoiled with the sync between the Mac, iPad and iPhone with no effort, so I also do not want to change either.

Sep 26, 2013 5:55 PM in response to RobCassby jgmarcel,My iPhone and iPad are slowly catching up with each other. My Mac, though, logs only this when I toggle Documents & Data off and back on, without populating the ~/Library/Mobile Documents directory:

Sep 26, 2013 6:04 PM in response to Richard.Hydeby fmervick,I regained access to iWork in iCloud this morning, but still no response from Apple (in spite of their 2-day promise) explaining why it was lost in the first place!

Totally agree with you that everyone of us in this thread deserves an explanation from Apple for this incident.

Sep 26, 2013 6:38 PM in response to SSNNYYby Demo,I updated to 7.0.2 on all devices and that fixed it for me as well. I had to do a little fine tuning in iCloud.com since I had some documents that had conflicts that arose from making revisions on different devices and not syncing them properly in the first place, but all has been restored and everything works as expected now.

Sep 26, 2013 6:58 PM in response to Richard.Hydeby SGIII,All seems back to the usual perfectly synced chaos and disorder here now too. Thanks to all of you who spent all that time talking to Apple and reporting what you found (or didn't find) out! Happy syncing in the cloud! It really is pretty slick when it's working. I think, though, that I'll be keeping plenty more terrestrial backups scattered in various places. Server/account/whatever gremlins seem to strike at just the wrong time. Agree we deserve an explanation from Apple why our particular accounts were locked.

Sep 27, 2013 8:12 PM in response to Richard.Hydeby wzienrgo,After Update to iOS 7.0.2, everything about iCould documents syncing is working just fine across my mac and iOS devices. I don't know how this issue happened and wait Apple to give us some explainations.
But after all everything is OK now.

Oct 22, 2013 2:12 AM in response to Richard.Hydeby Phaedrus25,Same issue. Getting entirely sick of the business model Apple presents wherein I am forced to spend 98% of my time on these overpriced products searching the community forums for how to get them to function properly. SICK AND TIRED, APPLE. Learn how to properly beta test your software before releasing it, rather than consistently relying on the public to beta test it for you. It's **** shoddy practice.
