Q: iOS7: Custom Labels & Reminders.

Hello

REMINDERS IN iOS7

  1. I have discussed this at my local Apple Store & they are confused as to the solution.
  2. When I set `Reminders' to appear in Notification Centre & in Lock Screen everything in my Reminders list appears, not just the ones relevant to that date.
  3. It defeats the purpose of single reminders on specific days to have every one on the list come up.

`CUSTOM LABELS' IN CONTACTS:

  1. In previous OS's when I made `Custom Labels' when adding a contact whatever label I had created would then appear - IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER - thus making them easy to access for a future label.
  2. With iOS7 these labels now come up in random order and there is no sequence/logic to how they appear.
  3. It would be great if this could be rectified in a future update.

Havent found anything acceptable in IOS7 to address the concern but I get around it using third party Apps like What'sApp and Magic Jack's Talk Free which have retained the format from earlier IOS versions. It is also possible to delete labels like this as well.

Also I have found that in IOS7 the labels wont duplicate so you can simply make the input by typing, time consuming though, hope we get a fix soon.

To add a Custom Label in your Contacts (IOS 7.1.1) select the contact, select Edit, select the existing phone number label and then select Add Custom Label and type the new name. Touch the "return" key on the pop up keyboard and then touch Done. The new label will now show next to the existing phone number AND in the list of labels. Haven't figured out how to delete labels yet. If anyone has answer let me know.
