I am sure you are eager to download the iTunes Digital Copy of Iron Man 3. You will need to redeem the code in the iTunes Store before the movie will download or appear as purchased on your account.
I recommend following the steps in the section titled "Downloading an iTunes Digital Copy to iTunes" in the following article (step 3 says to sign in with your Apple ID in the upper right hand corner of the iTunes Store, but with the latest version of iTunes, the sign in button is in the upper left hand corner):
Transferring or downloading an iTunes Digital Copy

Your instructions don't work. They say to enter the 12 digit code. Problem is my Iron Man 3 + Digital Copy code only has 11 digits and iTunes doesn't recognize it. How do I get around this problem? I had no problem with Iron Man 1 and 2.

Sep 28, 2013 8:53 PM in response to sheila_m.by darwindeuce,I'm having the exact same issue. The iron man 3 dvd comes with a code but the instructions ask us to go to digitalcopyplus/ironman3 and download. The problem is they don't list itunes as an option. When I try to type the code into iTunes I get an error message. My question is this...How do I redeem my iron man 3 digital copy in iTunes if my code is not accepted? I have purchased the dvd legally and I simply want to have it in my itunes collection. Please let me know. Thanks!

Sep 29, 2013 2:40 PM in response to darwindeuceby Foolishcfo,I did some research on the internet and it appears Disney dropped iTunes as a digital option in August. Not stating that on the DVD package borders on fraud when they know you can't return the package once opened. I called (not emailed Amazon about returning it and they have agreed to refund my money). Retailers are going to have to protect themselves from the childish actions like Disney.

Sep 30, 2013 5:22 PM in response to jetfan77by ndpara,Same thing here. I enter the code as directed and it says not valid, is this an Apple problem or is there something that I am not trying or not doing correctly. 11 piece code. what to do?

Oct 8, 2013 1:29 AM in response to jetfan77by coolkate88,i would recomend buying the bluray from now on because disney dropped itunes as an option when u buy the dvd that comes with a digtal copy. your options that u get is vudu/amazon/ google play. i upset too that disney did this they should offer all the same options for all there packaging if the bluray gets it so should the dvd otherwise its just confusing. we will just have to go to digitalcopyplus site to see the options provided they do list there movies in the help section. i only do itunes because i like to watch on my ipad and everyone know digital copy means itunes
