My friends and I just came back from a vacation trip.  We all have iPhone's, and created a shared photostream (iOS7) so we all can add our photos to one place.  I would like to use iPhoto on my mac to create some photo books, presentations, etc. But on iPhoto 11 on my mac it only shows my photos that I added from my mac.. all other members photos, and my photos from my iphone do not show up it this photostream!  Any helpful suggestions would greatly be appreciated. thank you.

That is correct - as dopcumented having friends add photos to a shared photostream is stricltly an IOS 7 and PC feature - it is not currently available on the mac

On an iOS 7 device or Windows computer, you can also choose whether to allow subscribers to add photos and videos to a shared stream you own

I don't think this answers the OP's issue.  I am having the same issue where on a shared photo stream other subscriber's photos show up on some ios 7 devices, but not all.  However, I do find that they all show up on the public website.  Also, any photos added by subscribers should also show up in the shared photo stream on the Macs.  Subscribers on Macs just cannot contribute to the shared photo stream.

You can apparently force ios6 devices to receive the subscriber contributed photos by turning off shared photo streaming and turning it back on again. It is under General Troubleshooting in the following link:

A similar workaround did not work with iPhoto 11.

To get around this, I've been re-sharing the subscriber contributed content and deleting the original from the stream. They show up, but not a very elegant solution.
