I am trying to create a photo book that I can use to export to my ipad to show to people, without having to print the actual hard cover book. Can this be done in iPhoto? Or in any other software?

Thanks

If you install the iBooks app on your iPad, you can read pdf files on the iPad.

    Do the following:

    • In iPhoto, select the book album and and press ⌘P to print it.
    • In the Print panel, press the "PDF" button and seect to save the book as a PDF file.
    • Open iTunes, and drag the exported PDF document into the iTunes Library. It will show up in the "PDF" tab of the "Books" view in iTunes.
    • Now sync your iPad with iTunes and make sure, your PDF is selected in the Books tab of the sync panel for your iPad, when you select it  in iTunes sidebar.

On your iPad, you should now be able to read and to show off your iPhoto book from the Book shelf in iBooks.
