Sep 29, 2013 10:17 AM in response to judythby Csound1,10.6.8 is not and never has been compatible with iCloud. If you do not wish to upgrade to a current version of OSX and do not have an iPhone or iPad that is iCloud compatible you can do nothing.

The iCloud control panel debuted with Lion, Snow Leopard has never been compatible with iCloud, sorry but you are misinformed.
I would not have continued to rely on a system that my Mac was not compatible with, this is the reason why.

Sep 29, 2013 11:08 AM in response to Csound1by judyth, yes, you are correct about the control panel but, in fact, there was access to the storage et al. No matter if I lose whatever is there, as all is backed up. I downloaded all of the thousands and thousands of emails and am only concerned about maintaining the *.mac/*.me addresses. No Tech or Genius had an answer, strange, eh?
Kudos for jumping in.

Sep 29, 2013 11:14 AM in response to judythby Roger Wilmut1,★HelpfulIf you have downloaded all the emails, then you could go to http://icloud.com and delete all the emails, contacts and calendars - then you should be well within the 5GB and won't have a problem.
