Q: I keep getting emails from Apple about this despite purchasing more storage.  Is this just how it works or do I have to do something else?

Anyone else getting this?  I keep thinking there was a glitch and I'm going to lose everything and my email!

If you have actually purchased an upgrade, that will have cancelled the free storage from the time you made the purchase, and it will expire a year later.

If you did not purchase an upgrade, then your free extra storage will show as if you had purchased it, and will expire on Sept 30th.

    To check:

    1. Choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, then click the iCloud icon.
    2. Click the Manage button.
    3. Click Change Storage Plan.
    4. Click Downgrade Options.
    5. Enter your Apple ID password, then click Manage

What date does it give here? -

If it says what is in the image you need to purchase your current plan - click the plan to select it and then click 'Done'.
