Q: Notification in Find Friends

How do a create a notification in Find Friends? I would like to be notified when my friend (son) is about to arrive. It looks as if I can set up a 'fence' to notify me when he is within 30 mles of home.

There are two ways. You can create a one-time notification from your side or he can create a permanent notifaction on his side.

    1) In the app click on your contact, then on the "i", then on "Notify me". You can choose between "Leave" and "Arrive", you can choose a location and you can set the geofence perimeter from 100m to as wide as you want.

But: This is one time only. You need to set it up every time again.

    2) If he wants you to get a notication every time (or vice versa), go to "Me", then "Notify" and do the same as above and select "Repeat every time".

But: Notications do not work at the moment. I hope Apple will fix that problem soon...
