Will buying an UPS resolve my "tingling / mild shock" problem?

Im in Europe and it looks like my house isnt "grounded/earthed" properly so I get that tingling sensation when i slide my fingers across the mac's chassis.

 

Will an UPS resolve this?

    I take it that this only happens if you are powering your Macbook Air from the supplied 230V Power adapter and you have nothing else plugged in such as a USB Ethernet, external disk drive or Modem?

     

    If you only have the power adapter plugged in I would have that item checked, there should be no leakage from it that you could feel.

     

    If you have other items plugged into the computer disconnect those and check if any of those are causing the problem.
