watching a video about how the OS is 'advertised' by apple, and actually using the OS for yourself are 2 totally different things.

The brilliance of Apple's products were that my 75 year old mother could use it as could my 2 year old niece.  Owners manuals are for Microsoft products.

Really. Let's see I could go to the sprint store and see ios7 on the 5S and 5C. They had demo versions at Best Buy. So your argument is not valid. Also what they showed on stage at the WWDC was exactly what you got so you knew way ahead of time what it was going to look like. Don't even try to say you didn't know. You can change the text size and boldness if you want too. You are just too lazy to actually go and do it before complaining on here.

For your argument to be valid, every iPhone owner in the world would need to be an iGeek.  That may be your world, but for the vast majority of iPhone owners, they just like the device and use it.  As it turns out for those who don't like it, their big mistake was having faith in hitting the "INSTALL" button after Apple pushed the download to their device. If you're suggesting that trusting Apple to provide an attractive product is lazy, then your point is becoming increasingly more valid.  Time will tell.

You were just too lazy to do your homework on the product. So you are saying you bought a car without test driving it or asking what the features were first? You are just an uninformed consumer that want's everything spoonfed to them. Do your own research.

I did my research, downloaded iOS 7... and 12hrs later I uninstalled it. Watching baseball on TV is different than going to the game... Now I just put a bunch of music on my device to keep Cupertino from trying to jam it into my device, again. Me happy, happy, happy...

So, your 2 year old niece uses an iPhone and understands it's features, eh?

If people read the User Guide (not really a manual) 95% of the questions and problems posted on this forum would be eliminated.

Besides,  you missed the point entirely.  The function of the "Remind" button on the call receive screen is completely intuitive - well, maybe not to a gibbon.

Like Badger3k mentioned, if I'm ignoring a call to begin with...chances are I'm not going to call them back so why would I need a reminder! Oh yeah, to remind me that I ignored the call I didn't want to answer in the first place. Makes sense...

Well, this is probably way out of your range of experience, but not everyone is still in middle school and rejects only the calls they want to "ignore."

The productive people in this world are often too busy to take a call, yet want to call back later, and appreciate being reminded to do so.

If your life is too busy that you need a reminder to call someone back then you need to step back a breath.Life's too short...enjoy it!

Is that the mantra of losers?

Most of us have memories that can stretch beyond five minutes.  If I got a call at work, I look to see if it's an emergency call ot something I'm expecting and need to answer.  if not, then it gets ignored and until I go on break or go home.  If it's important enough to try to reach me, I have voicemail, and that shows up if i didn't listen to it.  If they didn't need to leave a message, then it wasn't important enough for me to worry about, and seeing the "missed call" is enough to remind me.  Why waste time and effort going through another step?

There is no "extra step" if don't want a reminder. Touch "reminder" and the is immediately rejected. Ignore the options and the the phone times out back to locked mode.

Well if you are happy then keep it that way. You won't probably be able to update a lot of your apps soon so don't complain about the features we have in iOS 7 ever again.

Modular he is correct. There is not decline button but clicking the sleep/wake button twice does the same thing as declining a call.
