Q: iTunes + Appstore down?

Same here, getting the (-50) error. I've only just got my iPod today and it's stopped working, so i've not linked my iPod to my iTunes yet. Trying to log onto my iTunes store via my laptop and it doesn't sork

iTunes Store app crashes every time I try to open it on my iPhone running iOS 7 :( Plus iTunes Match has stopped working..

Same here - cannot update apps or load new ones. The icon spins for a second then stops. iPad and iPhone affected. Only seems to have started since I installed the latest upgrade to ios7 with the security fixes a couple of hours ago.

iTunes just started working for me on my Mac and iPhone.  I didn't do anything special; I just kept clicking the buy button.

It *****, it's made me worried i've done something wrong though, this is like my first Apple product ever and I think i've done everything right, but not being able to log into the store and getting that error is making me think :/

Sent an email to Apple support but reply may take up to 2 days. Automated reply says:

You didn't do anything wrong.  There is just a problem with iTunes; it happens sometimes.

Same error -50

And App Store didn't work

I did the same thing as well.. Im hoping something comes of this cause all my devices are crippled right now and its really infiriating cause i use itunes match

Ahh thanks and I know. I mean i'm reassured knowing that there are a lot of other people with the similar problem.

This looks like a big outtage of the iTunes Store. Status page says "some users may be affected" but over the last few minutes almost 200 posts to this forum? I think its more than "some."

same problems with appstore/iphone/mac in Russia.
