May 7, 2013 6:44 AM in response to barbara424by Demo,Then it is probably time to take your iPad to an Apple Store for evaluation. There may be a hardware issue with the device and you cannot do anything to fix that of there is.

Jul 19, 2013 10:30 AM in response to barbara424by Alexlava,I got this problem too.
The screen is totally black. You can see it " black-dim " when you turn it Off & On.
You can ear the email tones when I receive an email.
So it's definitvly working ... just show's a balck screen.
So here's what I did (don't get your hope's up .. I'm still stuck).
1- I tried to put it on recovery mode. It does ... but I can't see the usuall iTunes and connector image, I still get a black screen.
2- Rebooted it from recovery, still black
3- Did a full Restore, still black
Now it's totally empty and still the same black screen.
Any ideas ?

Aug 19, 2013 9:19 PM in response to barbara424by Riley stewart,★HelpfulTry kneeing you ipad on the back with a considerable amount of force, that worked for me. I know it sounds crazy but something moved inside of your ipad and kneeing it will move it back. I promise I am not lying.

Sep 8, 2013 11:46 PM in response to Riley stewartby Noellossie,Unbelievable. My husband was about to throw the thing out and get a new one, so I tried this as a last resort and I still can't believe it WORKED. It's like an old-school TV set...sometimes it just needs a good whack to get it going again!
