Can someone please explain to me how Photo Stream works with ios 7?  I had a photo stream.  Put pics on it.  Used them to scroll across screen on Apple Tv.  Now, when I take a pic with iPhone 5s, there is no option to send it to Photo Stream. On my Apple Tv settings, I can pick either the (old) Photo Stream that has 200+ pics in it to use or I can pick the new shared stream to use, but I can't use both.  Why Not?  I can send my pics from camera roll to iCloud and start a new stream to share (correct?) but I want to do it the old way.  At this point, I'm **** confused.  Why do I have to have 2 different Photo Streams now?  I can't even access the old one anymore. How do I get all those pics back to my phone?  Will someone please explain how this works.  Thank you.

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.2

Photo stream (now called My Photo Stream) is a syncing service, used to sync photos from one device to another.  It's not intended to be used as a storage service (Always sync photos to a computer to archive them).  Only devices logged into the icloud account can get copies from the stream servers (and photos in the stream are only kept for up to 30 days, after which they are deleted from the servers).

A Shared Photo Stream is one in which other users can view your photos without having to log into your icloud account.

You need to decide what you want to do with photos and then pick the right service.  Try googling Photo Stream, and Shared Photo Stream to learn about the two in more detail.
