Upgrading from 5 to 5s, do I swap SIM card before or after migration of data? Or does it matter?

Been there; no reference to when SIM should be exchanged, only which ones are found in each model.

In which case it probably doesn't matter, the new iPhone will need the sim inserted to allow activation so that may help you in your choice
