That's not an email file, .olk is an Outlook Address Book file, to read it you will need MS Outlook.

(You need the .olm or .pst file to get the email)

Microsoft Outlook 2011 saves data as .olk files. Only Outlook for Mac can read these files. If the Identity is corrupt, you can try the QuickLook plugin to view, but you will not be able to open.

Install QuickLook plugin that will allow you to see a message as long as Outlook is not open. You will need to restart your computer or Log out/in after installing plugin.

Quicklook will not open .olm or .olk files.

The user asked how to view a .olk file. Outlook saves data as .olk xxxx files in Data Records for that Identity.

If you want to save data in Outlook for Mac you can export as .olm file or .mbox file. You can also drag emails as .eml files to the desktop.

But to get back to the original question of of reading the .olk file, you will have to either open the Identity that contains that file or use the QuickLook plug to view.
