    @TJBUSMC1973:

It was not a translation, my post was written with the new ios7 and 1px light "baby blue" menu !

As a paying customer, I am 100% entitled to express my perception.

    Free of speech !

Or ... maybe not anymore in the new Apple world ? In a couple of months we will be in 2014. Yes, 1984 freedom and "think different" is history.

My problem is the "look & feel" of ios7. It is a mess. It's "unfinished", it makes me sick, and soon, maybe blind !!!

1px light lines in baby blue color on a white background is not my taste. It makes me dizzy. The same with the text of 3px high.

Some people like the "fake gold" --- well, I do appreciate "fake leather" + BIG icones, BIG text, and CLEAR text menu.

    Too much asking ?

And by the way, your arrogance and "superiority" approach is NOT helping you, nor Apple. Not at all !

I am a real customer, with real Apple products purchased with my money. So I do not deserve to be treated like that by a teenager spending his life in a forum.

Unhappy customers express themselves, while happy customers DO NOT express. They live a happy life.

Signed : I am still an unsatisfied customer.

PS. The competition is not better. And Apple seems to get highly inspired by the competition. It is a stupid mess in the smart phone field. But I guess this is the image of the "S" society. ( stupid ? )

Had my iPhone 4 been correctly designed, I wouldn't have needed a bloody case in the first place and cases don't last as long as iPhones.

I'm out of my two year contract, I got a cheap monthly renewal eagerly awaiting the new iPhone only to be disappointed. Aren't I lucky, had the iPhone 6 had been released, I'd now either be stuck with an out of date operating system or the appalling IOS7. I can now vote with my feet against IOS7.

No, this particular policy will be dictated by the needs of the majority of the device users, as well as the shareholders.

Want to get Apple to change their policies?  Become a shareholder.  Apple has NEVER allowed downgrading of an iOS, mainly because it can cause far too many technical issues with user apps.

The potential problems involved with iOS downgrades and App software conflicts FAR OUTWEIGH the minor benefits of downgrading.  Still want to downgrade?  There's no Apple supported method, but Google is a useful tool.  Feel free to see all the problems that unauthorized modifications can and will cause your iOS device.

There's a reason Apple won't ever allow downgrading.  Just because you don't understand that reason doesn't mean it isn't valid, and necessary.

Your post was unintelligible, for the most part.  It appeared that English was not your first language.  If that is not the case, then perhaps in the future you should take some extra care with your grammar and punctuation?

You have freedom of speech.  But this is a private forum.  Apple is not required to allow you to express your First Amendment rights.  Perhaps you should learn about those rights before you attempt to assert them?

I am also a real customer, and definitely not a teenager (And after re-reading your post, I'm actually OLDER than you.  Funny, huh?).  I don't spend my life on this forum.  It's a hobby, at best.  And in fact, those of us that do spend time on this forum are WHY this forum works.  Otherwise, who would answer your technical questions?

I personally don't care whether you're a happy customer or not.  My stock price doesn't fluctuate based off of your opinion.  I don't care if you like or dislike iOS 7.  I'm volunteering my time to assist people with real technical issues, not those that want to whine & complain.

    Move along, sir.

EDIT:  And what does "Since the update of the new IOS7, I just keep put outside the content of my stomach." mean?  See what I mean about 'unintelligible'?

Clearing out corrupted data can have a big effect on performance.  That's what causes freezes, slowing of video responses, and outright crashes

How do I adjust the battery drain setting? Thats first I've heard of that setting.

Huh?  I said settingS:  There are many articles on what to set.

And as far as low signal area,  you deal with it if you want phone reception or you got to airplane mode. plain and simple.

Much more to it than that.  Disabling LTE can avoid hunting and drain.  In some areas disabling cell data altogether helps.  In crappy WiFi environments disabling WiFi is needed. Disabling "Ask ti Join Networks" is always helpful

None of your maintenance really helps the performance of the operating system other than the reset.

How would you know - you don't even know what they are, understand them, or ever have done them.  But, never let abject ignorance stand in your way....

The FACT is iOS 7 hasn't slowed down my wife's iPhone 4, and iPad 3 or my iPad 2.  Your previous response was that the fanboy coolaid must be blinding me, but the truth is that you're blowing it out of your posterior orifice.

I do not want an old IOS features.

I simply want the former look !

    Period.

I don't want this new look of ios7.

In the country I live now, we do not receive "free iPhones" --- and we pay those products at the normal price + VAT + transport + import taxes.

So I am totally unhappy to see I am imposed such a mess.

I choose Apple because it's easy. Click, plug, 10 seconds, finish. Now is not easy anymore.

It makes me like this : www.youtube.com/watch?v=96B_Q6K7GUY

As for competition, for the moment, their sync is horrible.

As I express already, right now I can :

    1. Either choose a blind maker user interface (ios7)

    2. Or choose a competition product whose sync is a full mess

I see no solution to my problem, because both solutions are bad.

When I express my problem of not being able to read 3px text of light "baby blue color", I get insulted and treated arrogantly.

Wonder if those people are really using Apple products as a real customer, and not as a "show product - look what we have in the pocket".

This attitude is making me even more sick.

Seriously for those who hate IOS 7 so much.......PLEASE just switich to other phones then. I'm sure Apple will not miss you.

I thought these support discussions were to help answer issues and questions from subject-matter experts??

Who said that was the only purpose?

People who have chosen to install (or allowed their device to install) iOS7 and who either dislike it or can't use it are entitled to complain. You may disagree, but you have no right to tell others that their opinions/problems don't matter. If you don't like the tone of this thread, why contribute to it?

Whether you like it or not, the overall reception/perception of iOS7 is not great, and is significantly worse than any other iOS upgrade (if that's the right word in this particular case).

Let's be honest; Apple have dropped the ball big time with this upgrade, and stand to lose a LOT of customers if they don't sort it out. So, if the 28% of customers who are dissatisfied switch to another phone, as you suggest, that's a big black eye for Apple. Not a great move on Apple's part one might argue...

You're seeing only a very, very small percentage of Apple's users on this site.  The actual customer feedback, nationally & globally, is much better.

An unhappy customer is 10-15 times more likely to voice their opinion than a happy customer.  When was the last time that you gave positive feedback to a service provider?  If your internet works perfectly for three months with no interruptions, do you call up the ISP and say, "Thank You"?  If your order is correct at the drive-thru, do you call the store later and thank the manager?

Just because you are seeing 'many' complaints here doesn't mean that represents the overall customer base.  This is just, again, a vocal minority.

Finally, Apple provides a method of feedback for your 'opinions'.

    http://www.apple.com/feedback/

Use that, instead of cluttering up the technical assistance forum with griping & whining.

I work at at a music college where everyone uses macs and everyone uses iphones . I have plenty of friends who never come to these forums including my wife who just do not like the new upgrade so you certainly aren't hearing from any of these people on these forums. I think you will find there are more people who don't like it then you think.

This is not like past upgrades and visually it is bad. Grey on white is not a good idea . Many people are not as savy about waiting for upgrades . I always wait . Fortunately I didn't upgrade mine yet and after seeing my wife's phone I'm glad iI didn't and will wait and hopefully they will do something about it . Until then OS 6 is working fine for me . I have nothing against improved features and I know there are bugs that need to be addressed when something comes out  but if it bothers your viewing experience and makes it harder to read then something is definitely wrong . Apple has always been a leader in graphics and now it's like they are trying to look more lke the competition.

I'm certainly not going to be changing to anything else in the near future  I have been using Apple products far too long (1990) to switch and have never even touched a pc. I have a mac pro I use everyday in my studio, a G5, G4 , ipad, iphone, a new imac, macbook pro so I am just as much a fan of Apple as anyone here , I'm just disappointed in this recent move by Apple with IOS7 and I have left my feedback to Apple.

As far as clutterung up the forums this is only one thread and you know you do have a choice to skip it if you don't want to read about this subject and go on to another thread concerning other technical issues. Let people state their opinions .

Stating their opinions here is POINTLESS.  A waste of their time.  A waste of their breath (or fingertips, if you prefer).

This forum is for technical assistance.

Do you go to the DMV to complain about the U.S. Postal Service?  Do you go to FedEx/Kinkos to order a pizza?

That's what you're doing here when you complain to Apple.  Apple isn't listening here.  That's what apple.com/feedback is for.

But feel free to keep wasting your time.

Yes it certainly does make you appear more intelligent being as condecending as you are to a non-native english speaker. Personally I don't care what your views are on IOS 7; forum members are not here to solicit your views but to express their own, and they have every right to do so.

I agree with Lapina that the overall UI changes to the new OS are a significant downgrade, but unlike him I was smart to demo the beta ahead of time and then uninstall it ...and so will be staying on 6.1.4 for the time being.

As noted in my earlier post, I received a replacement iphone4 running ios6 from my carrier. It took several calls and complaints but they finally agreed to replace my iphone. Swapped all of the data and I couldn't be happier. I was having legit problems after upgrading to ios7 and spent several days hashing it out with Apple with little luck. Good to have a working phone back. I understand every new release will have it's share of issue, but rendering a phone inoperable and not allowing customers to revert back to a working system isn't fair. We can wait for a fix, but for how long? My suggestion is to talk to your carrier. I'm sure they are aware of the ios7 problems, Verizon is. Don't let up until you are heard! Good luck.
