I'm sure she understood, she just didn't agree. The rules of this forum are to support Apple, even when they are wrong.

Nope, there are PLENTY of threads on here that express dissatisfaction with Apple, but still have relevant technical questions.

    That's the difference.

Yes it certainly does make you appear more intelligent being as condecending as you are to a non-native english speaker. Personally I don't care what your views are on IOS 7; forum members are not here to solicit your views but to express their own, and they have every right to do so.

I agree with Lapina that the overall UI changes to the new OS are a significant downgrade, but unlike him I was smart to demo the beta ahead of time and then uninstall it ...and so will be staying on 6.1.4 for the time being.

And I have every right to disagree with them, and find their 'complaints' laughable.  See how that works?  'Free speech' is a two way street.

As far as demoing it, good for you.  That was the wise thing to do.  If only that was more common.

You nailed nothing in my head. Hard head I have on my shoulders...

But you write something previously: "(...) I don't won't Apple to kowtow to a vocal minority."

Can you please be so kind and translate in English "I don't won't Apple" from your previous sentence ? It seems to be unintelligible to a minority like me. Writing minority. ;-)

As for your writing "I am older than you"...

1973 from your name is then a pure fantasy ? And 1972 is what then ?

    However, I am not semi-retired...

Sorry, but I have no native language nor forum.

Why ? Because some people "up in the air" can't understand why some countries have 3 official mandatory languages. Add to this "Babel tour" the fact my mother and my father tongue are different from the official ones, and you get the picture.

I do not count English as known language because I only have very limited basic notions.

But in English I find funny to express using pictures. I call it "modern art" --- just like the new ios7.

Just give a try and "put outside the content of the stomach".

    You get the picture ?

    No ?

Then try to remember the "perfume" of this mixture. Any adult allowed to consume alcohol or having a baby know what is...

And that makes me get back to the new ios7 look !

    Burk. Burk. Burk.

The new ios7 makes me sick when I use it and the content of my stomach is out.

One more thing, to this very funny wordy exchange ...

Semi-retired in the country I live is someone who was laid off and can't find a job. And financially secured means asking for the "social help". But I am sure is not what you mean by that. ;-)

    Final PS.

My pleasure was fully mine to exchange some thoughts with so nice and empathic people like you.

But I still feel "SICK" with the new ios7 "look & feel". I am so sorry I can't exchange my stomach with your stomach while using the new ios7. Believe me, I would do it, just once. LOL

They can state their opinions at apple.com/feedback.

Stating their opinions here is POINTLESS.  A waste of their time.  A waste of their breath (or fingertips, if you prefer).

This forum is for technical assistance.

Do you go to the DMV to complain about the U.S. Postal Service?  Do you go to FedEx/Kinkos to order a pizza?

That's what you're doing here when you complain to Apple.  Apple isn't listening here.  That's what apple.com/feedback is for.

But feel free to keep wasting your time.

Nice analogies going to kinkos for pizza that have nothing to do with anything . This is an Apple forum about Apple Iphones and I believe this particular Discussion group is called Using iPhones which is what everyone is talking about and not just technical assistance . As I stated , I already sent in my feedback to Apple and we are just discussing the problem with OS7 on an iphone. My question is why are you wasting your time on this thread if it is something that you are not interested in or concerned about . Maybe you should help someone with another technical problem elsewhere.

Mmm… A curious support community dynamic has become increasingly apparent. Readers have become faced with wondering whether or not the act of complaining is intrinsically less worthwhile than the act of complaining about complaining.

C'mon, TJ. You love, love, love reading and participating in this thread! It's okay, just admit it. Many here have noticed that you seem to be having the time of your life NOT talking about 'relevant technical questions.'

That just allows me to download shows and movies from iCloud.

anyone know how to play an entire season in sequence?

No,  it means you can stream videos stored in iCloud.  They don't get downloaded

To play the season of a show in uninterrupted sequence requires that the show has been formatted as chapters rather than discrete episodes.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not sure how to go about formatting a show as chapters.... how does one do that?

I'm not streaming anything from iCloud, I actually purchased an entire season of a show from iTunes; it's now in my videos app library; episodes 1 - 22.

Is the show formatted in chapters automatically from iTunes? Or do I have to do something?

I just want to hit play like in the old iOS 6 version and the entire show from episode 1-22 plays uninterrupted.

    Any suggestions?

I hit the nail on the head when I predicted English was not your first language.  It's a colloquialism.

Congratulations!  You found a minor error in my post that I was unable to edit later.  Well done!  What I meant was "I don't want Apple".

The date refers to when I entered the Marine Corps.  You claimed to be 40 years old.  Feel free to do the math.  Ionly referenced age because you made the 'teenager' comment.

I'm sorry you have no native language.  That must have made your childhood difficult.

Your attempt to take creative license with the English language is interesting, and quite colorful.  I've never seen someone try to paint a picture of regurgitation.

Semi-retired in my country means that I have no need to work for financial reasons; I simply keep working for the associated benefits, as well as to stay busy.  Plus the extra money is always nice, as well.  Good to have some pocket change.

Sorry you feel so sick.  You should see a doctor about that!

    Good talking to you!  LOL!

Yes we did, but we don't get to know how well it works - we have to trust blindly in Apple for that and at the moment I am more than a little jaded with IOS7
