Is your iPod jailbroken? If not then it doesn't have a virus.

    More details would be helpful.

What version of iOS it it running?

What did you do to it recently, such as upgrades?

What have you done in an effort to correct this problem, such as reboot, reset and/or restore?

it was be the first ipod to ever have a virus

    try to reset ipod see

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1320

then if it will show in itunes try to unsync the device

in itunes - click device name - go to music tab - uncheck sync music - then click apply or sync at bottom

after unsync.  reselect sync music and sync again

if this doesn't work needs restored and then repaired if issue persists

    Peace, Clyde

There are no viruses on the Nano and it doesn't run iOS so you can't jailbreak it.

Usually whent that happens with songs it is an authorization problem with the computer you are using. Try Restoing your Nano in iTunes and sync it from scratch.
