Oct 5, 2013 2:23 PM in response to coachjackieby Eustace Mendis,Is it possible that you have a bad bunch of batteries?
My Magic Mouse on one computer and the Mighty Mouse on another use batteries I bought through the Apple store (with a charger). They last a long time.

Another possiblity is that the mouse is defective. Since the keyboard connects, it has to be the mouse or the batteries.

Nov 13, 2013 3:27 PM in response to coachjackieby mikethake80,I am having a similar problem - my Magic Mouse is now out of Warranty... I keep reading on other message boards that this is a design flaw with the battery compartment? Anyone at Apple care to comment?

Nov 25, 2013 11:46 AM in response to coachjackieby ejonesww,We just purchased a new iMac less than a week ago and have the same problem with the wireless mouse. It loses connection frequently. A few impatient clicks and some waiting and it always reconnects, but the constant stopping and starting is ridiculous for a brand new device. If anyone has more information or knows of a fix, please post it.
