In the last ios I was able to tap the screen on my ipad (4th generation) with two fingers and then slide them over multiple pictures to select and then delete or add them to an album, but this does not seem to work in ios 7, any suggestions? This was a great feature for dealing with a lot of pictures in a short time.

Use Image Capture
Easiest way I know is to connect iPad with USB cable, then open Image Capture on the Mac. The iPad will appear on the left, then you can load the images and delete single or multiple ones
