I have a feeling the photos in my "Camera Roll" and "Photo Library" are duplicates (and eating up my memory).  Is there a way to delete the Photo Library, leaving my Camera Roll as the only and main folder on my iTouch?  OR should I combine the Camera Roll into the Photo Library?  I'd like to mainstream and have all of my photos here and move all of my videos to the "Video" button on my iTunes.  Shouldn't I be able to drag and drop?

    They are not duplicated.

    Photo library contains all photos.

You can access those exact same photos from the folders/albums.

Camera Roll is temporary storage for all pics taken with the ipod.  You should be importing them to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera.

This is best managed from your computer.

Import all your photos from the camera roll.  I use Dropbox which does this daily for me (free App for device and your computer)  Dropbox gives you 5GB of free storage and frees up the space on your iPod while keeping the pics and video easy to find and retrieve.

Before you sync to the iPod you can select photos to show on the iPod through iTunes if you like.

But if you want to know, for sure, what it eating up storage space, here is how to find out.

Go to setting > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage

Go down and select Show All

Now each App will show with how much data is stored on your device.  Video takes up a TON of storage compared to pictures.  Navigation and Maps also store a ton of data.
