The other day my brother bought a new 4S and left me his old 3GS with a broken screen (cracks). He said that he could not hit the 1 on the screen or the q. So anyway I setup the Iphone made a sync and everything. It worked fine i had to copy a one to get to the wi-fi though this was not a problem. So I got the materials and successfully took apart the iPhone 3GS and replaced the screen myself. I had trouble putting in the screws but successfully put them in (size problems). I then had trouble with connector 3 and realised how it worked and connected it. Number 2 was easy. Then a few problems on number one but it worked fine. That night my phone worked fine until a weird thing happened. The iPhone was pressing buttons without me touching them. When I HOVERED over the screen near w and a it would continuly press itself. I locked the screen and in ten minutes it worked and then soon after started doing it again.

The next day i went to the shops with my friend and had no problem until I took my Iphone out of my pocket with the White Screen of Death! At first I had no idea what it was and **** myself. I thought I had killed my LCD and **** myself cause my dad would kill me. Then i realised I could still press so at least it wasn't the digitizer. Then I shook my phone and it started working and I was so happy. Got in the car and it happened again. It went away and hasn't come back since.

Just now though I can't touch apps or anything going down the whole row on the left hand side. This is a real problem. WSOD means connector one might be loose. Should I reconnect that better? My brother said he used to get it to. Please help I need this phone to work or I'm stuffed.

It's still on IOS 5.1.1 I think or a 5.1 version becasue IOS 6.1.3 is too buggy for me.

Thanks for reading!
