Q: Contacts backup from Android to be restored in iphone 4

Hi...i have taken the contacts backup of Android Phone in to Myphoneexplorer and created a backup.mpb file. Recently i have purchased Iphone 4 and trying to restore the contacts into iphone but i am not able to. Need your help in fixing this issue ASAP

    Easiest thing to do is get your contacts into a vCard file, send such to yourself, then save the contacts on your phone.

    I got your reply, but the backup.mpb file i cannot convert into vcard file. How do i convert the mpb into vcard file. Please help

    AFAIK, .mpb is a file extension associated with Myphoneexplorer. So, I don't know that you can covert to vCard.

     

    Can you not export your contacts on your Android phone as vCard, or sync your contacts to a supported application on your computer, then sync them to your iPhone?

    The backup i have taken on myphoneexplorer has created an filed named backup.mpb which i cannot convert into vcard file and apparently the android phone in which i had my phone backup has been formatted. I have one more issue i.e. i am not able to create my gmail account in Iphone 4. It is showing incorrect user ID and password. While logging into my Gmail Account i get a google verification code on my mobile number, once i give the code, i can login. But in iphone 4 i am not able to do that. Kindly advise.
