Hey , I want to add what fixed both my Iphone 5 and iPad after the latest updates.
I tried many complicated methods, soft reset, reset network settings in airplane mode, removed apostrophe, reset privacy and location settings, reset router blah blah.
I removed apostrophe but I only had that on one device so not sure that was the ticket but can't do any harm.
Soft reset, press sleep and off button.
Then in this order I did the following.
Choose to forget your home wifi option.
General setting-reset- reset network setting
Turn off phone/iPad (I was doing this on BOTH devices at the same time and it fixed both!)
Turn off router for 5 mins.
Power up phone/iPad and router together but soon as you turn router on hit reset.
Rejoin the network on your devices and add password.
For me, for both devices it fixed the problem.
I was stuck for days with no wifi and trying various methods were useless, can't believe some people put their phone in the freezer but hey, whatever you want!!!
Don't skip a step as outlined above.
Reset that router as soon as you turn it on along with the apple devices before they start searching for it.
And it worked when nothing else would for both devices that were clearly affected by iOS 7 updates.
Do it in that order and I hope you also find you don't need to hard reset or freeze then blow dry your devices!!
Let me know if it worked for anyone!! Fingers x'd for you all!!!

THANK YOU!! I had a really weird glitch. My wife's iPhone 5 and my 4s upgraded at the same time to iOS 7. Things were great for about a week then suddenly our we could not connect our phones or our Macbooks to the home wifi network. My phone worked on the work wifi just fine. Anyway, I replaced our home wifi modem with no results. I tried numerous network resets, modem resets, router resets, non of which made any difference. But just now I removed the sim card, reset the phone and joined my home network. AND the macbook pro works too. I don't understand it but I'll take it.

You may or may not. If it is a failure of your WiFi chip it may not be possible. You may want to refer to my earlier post if it is a network and software issue you are in luck.
I am not an expert by any means though I have had iPhone with the very first one.
If you can go to About phone and look at the details if under WiFi it says NA you may have a hardware. Problem. Apparently this is not uncommon with any iOS upgrade as some one apparently an expert has posted in this thread.
I miss the iPhone because it's user interface is simply ingenious bi should say it WAS! I just moved to a different phone and a different platform to the chagrin of my family and friends. I have decided to wait it out until the next iPhone with real upgrade (not another s hopefully) and where i feel apple listens to their long term followers.

I have an iPhone 4s which costs 600 USD - an awfully awfully large amount of money in my opinion and for myself and my family as well. It worked totally fine on iOS6, the battery lasted 14-18 hours, WLAN worked everywhere. Then I made the upgrade to iOS7. WLAN is always greyed out, no matter what I try (and I tried everything). Battery life: if I do some Facebook, approximately 6 hours, if I do nothing, 10 hours. It didnt fall down, so I dont think a hardware problem is the reason for the WLAN issue (imho: I dont believe that 1% of the people who face these problems have a hardware problem!). If there is no fix for the WLAN issue among the next two iOS7 updates, I wont get the iPhone 5s instead, no, just the other way round: I will sell my iPhone 4s and will never buy any Apple product again and let my friend networks now all details. I am so fed up, in the future I'll rather give my money to people who really need it, who appreciate my actions and I'll buy an old used Galaxy on Android instead.

Hi, I have updated ios 7 on iphone 4S. I am facing wifi problem now. If I will reset my iphone 4S to factory setting, I will get my ios 6?
No, it will install 7.0.2, or whatever the latest version is. There is no "WiFi problem". There are many different things that can go wrong with WiFi, so the first step is to identify which of the dozen or more possible WiFi issues you are experiencing. This thread is already a mess, because several different problems are being discussed that are unrelated to each other and that have different solutions. I suggest posting a new question in the forum describing the symptoms you are seeing so someone can help you resolve your specific issue.

seems like there's lots of people with a 4s and a wifi problem after updating, even the guys in the O2 shop were very familiar with it too (said it was software)
can't understand why apple aren't doing anything about it; whether it's hardware or software is irrelevant to a consumer! the phone has stopped working properly since the upgrade!

A lot of folks have WiFi problems all the time, whether updating or not, and independent of what was updated to. For example: Does ios 6.1.3 wifi issues get solved in next update?
"WiFi problems" is too broad a category, however, because there are a dozen or more different problems that all have different causes. Most can be easily resolved. So it's important to describe your exact symptoms. For example:
- WiFi doesn't connect to my home network, but connects to other networks
- WiFi requires a passcode every time it connects to my home network
- My WiFi switch is "greyed out" and I can't turn it on
- My WiFi connects, but I don't get data over it
- My WiFi IP is 169.254.100.32 and it isn't working
- My WiFi works, but only at very short range (a few feet)
- I have no WiFi address in Settings/General/About
- I have no WiFi AND I have no BlueTooth
And many more. Some are directly related to the fact that the phone was upgraded (NOT the specific version upgraded to, as you can see from the link that I posted). Others are just random, and may be coincidence.

I appreciate your comments; my wifi button is greyed out and can't turn it on, sometimes it's green but doesn't connect to the wifi; I've done all the suggestions and nothing works I don't have blue tooth either, which is also common
my phone has been working fine for two years and I've installed whatever updates there has been in that time
from reading posts I think the 4s wifi/bluetooth issues are all the same; the phone is either greyed out and can't be switched on or the phone appears to be looking for the wifi but doesn't acknowledge any in range even though there are! I have both depending on what suggestions I have attempted!
it is not coincidence that lots of 4s users are experiencing the same issues upon updating to 7.0.2
either way the update to 7.0.2 has caused many 4s users to suffer loss of wifi connectivity (nothing to do with routers, passcodes, data, settings, etc.) and no blue tooth (so cannot be used in the car, very frustrating/dangerous/inconvenient) therefore, it is obvious that the 7.0.2 update has caused this and hence Apple's responsibility!

In my case, WiFi doesn't connect to my home network, but shows neighbors address
Last few days I am using ATT data and within a week its reach 200MB. I am using data plan last 2 years but never crossed 100MB because I just check emails, no online audio or video. After ios 7 update to refresh e-mail 10,000Kb use.
Is it customers fault to update ios 7? Tomorrow apple will issue ios 8 and will not work to any iphone except 5S, what will do? Do we have right to file a complaint against them?
