To update the Kenwood units. Go to the Bluetooth Compatability list. Enter in your head unit model and phone details.
There is a Download Link at the bottom of that page.
I couldn't find my model in the list either.
Just did the update and it worked!

Found it and downloaded bluetooth_6p52.krm to top level of a USB but when I tried the USB in my car it said no media was available. Does it have to be unpacked? I have an iMac not a pc... wonder if thats the issue?

If anyone is still having trouble after reading all the posts in this thread as I was, this may help. I was stuck with the endless don't touch button message even after the file seemingly transfered successfully. I have the 135bt, but I really think the update process is the same for many units. I went from Macbook Pro to Android phone, to Android tablet and back again. I pressed the reset 3 times. I waited up to 30 min before turning off key. I included all that info so it's known I jumped through many hoops trying to get it done. WHAT WORKED FOR ME: I don't think it matters but I used my Android phone with bluetooth file transfer app. I paired with the Alpine like normal. I went into the paired device menu and disconnected. I went to firmware update, turned it on so it said waiting. This is where the change that made it a success happened - while it said waiting I went to the Android bluetooth menu and made it connect to the Alpine. Once I saw the bluetooth symbol I initiated the file transfer process, pasted the update file in the update folder and everything went as I expected it would all along. Finished in about a minute. Hope that helps.

i did the same on my cde-133bt, but at the point when starts to copy the file i always come to the same problem, at 449kb the transfer stops, saying complete, but the head unit is still on waiting and nothing happens. i tried it from a macbook pro and even from an android phone via the app, but the same problem occurs. i succesfully updated the previous firmware update from the cd, but this one doesn't want to install.

Got my Alpine CDE-133BT head unit back from the Alpine service centre and it now works perfectly.
FWIW, they were very accommodating, even though I bricked it by trying that European upgrade.
Would suggest if you're struggling with the update to send it in.

Yes. Lost all bluetooth controls in my car after update. I have a Pioneer DEH-X8500BH that worked fine with ios6, now nothing works. I'm so ******. Lucky my girl didn't upgrade. Nothing special about ios7 anyways.

I have AVH-P2400BT / iPhone 4S
It seems to be working ok still. It doesn't always start playing automatically like it once did, but that could be any number of different things. I use Rdio and Pandora mostly.
iOS 7 causes significant battery drain though.

Before the last firmware fix, the biggest failures were related to BT control more than connectivity. I was unable to pause, skip tracks, etc when using Pandora or Spotify. With normal playback I was only abel to pause and play. I'll probably ride this out a bit.
Doesn't surprise me that battery issues are popping up again with iOS7. There is a reason why you try to limit the OS background to darker colors. The whiter values use more power and backlight and will drop that battery right down.

In my TL, function remains unchanged from iOS 6. No metadata shows. Acura never issued an update and simply updated to their page to say iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S with iOS 6 has limited capabilities in that song titles and data connection aren't available.
My battery life on my iPhone 5 was abysmal prior to the update. I had my battery swapped out a few days after the update and things are back to normal. I was looking at comparisons from my iPhone 5 when I first got it last year, and battery life isn't quite as good as then, with difference being marginally degraded for me over the course of the day, in comparison. My numbers show that in general, for various usage cases (time used / time on battery), I drain <2%/hour more than on iOS 6 when the phone was new for higher usage cases, and about the same in low use cases (think, phone mostly idle).
Of course it's not so cut and dry comparison, as my numbers reflect simply "usage" time versus "standby" time and not a realy testament to how I'm using my phone (watching a video versus browsing the web, versus playing a game) or what the signal levels are like. These are more simplistic numbers of just how I "mostly" use my phone when I'm barely using it versus moderately using it, versus heavily using it. Thes scenarios tend to always be mostly the same for me (a heavy day means I was tethering, a light day means I was home pretty much all day, on Wi-Fi, in a good signal area, and rarely using my phone for more than a quick mail check, facebook check, or SMS/iMessage). I'm a bit of a dork and collect data like this, specifically so I can compare and reference when there is an update or I think something isn't right.
That's just my experience. YMMV.

It's not any number of issues. It's an issue with the iOS. What else changed. Not the head unit firmware. Only the iOS. That's when the issue started. As well the music controls from the lock screen as well as the drag up controls screen are spotty at best.
