Want to upgarde from tiger to snow Leopard on 2007 Intel MacBook. Have Tiger 10.4.10 instll disks. Saw on line to pation HD to have tiger on 1 and Snow Leopad on the other. Necessary? Cannot partion HD, says because it has startup volume.  Should I backup entire HD, reads only 33GB used, to external, erase drive, than install Snow Leopard? Or will SL erase Tiger, but not data.  Whats best way to proceed?  Thanks

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.4.11)
