Actuall LousyFool what one needs to do is go to preferences and select bluetooth. While in the bluetooth pairing screen, with the headset in paring mode, click on the plus sign at the bottom of the screen. It then will direct you to another page which will show other bluetooth devices. Then your headset should show, and all you do is click on your device. Viola! For you information, the my headset didn't show on the first page either.

Here's what you need to do. Go to preferences and select bluetooth. While in the bluetooth pairing screen, with the headset in paring mode, click on the plus sign at the bottom of the screen. It then will direct you to another page which will show other bluetooth devices. Then your headset should show up, and all you do is click on your device. BINGO! FYI, my headset didn't show on the first page of the bluetooth menu screen, perhaps because it had already been paired with my phone. Anywho, I hope this helps someobdy!

I also had to tell Itunes to use the headset as an audio device. You may have to do  this.
