My ancient office PowerMac died, and it had Filevault running under Leopard. The computer gave up the ghost while I was logged in, and while I was able to retrieve and access the hard drive just fine on a new system (running Mountain Lion), my old home folder seems to be nothing but an empty folder! Shouldn't it be a sparsebundle file?

Is the data contained with that bundle lost, or do I need to so some other tricks in order to access it?
