Oct 9, 2013 1:05 PM in response to shaneo77by DrBunsenHoneydew,Apple, seriously? This is just annoying. All the colors on my calendar have changed without my permission and will not allow me to change them back regardless of where I make the change: iPhone, iPad, iCloud, nor iMac. For such a tech company focused on user-based design, this is kind of pathetic.
To your credit, you might finally convince me to shell out the $1k and set up my own server.

Oct 9, 2013 1:23 PM in response to DrBunsenHoneydewby AlexanderMarsh,Same problem here. I use different calenders for every family member and things like holiday, bithdays and so on. None of them is a shared calender. Today my private calender changed from brown to purple. If I change back to brown it only works for seconds before changing to purple again. Same problem if I try to change my calender from purple (which is the colour of my daughters calender) to blue. Its quite confusing to have my daughters calender and my private calender same colour.
Working with iPad 2, iPad mini and iPhone 4, everything with iOS 7.

Oct 9, 2013 1:48 PM in response to shaneo77by petsam,The same problem started for me 9 oct 2013, very frustrating to have the different calenders changing colours and not being able to restore them to the one you want without them being changed back again.

Oct 9, 2013 1:51 PM in response to shaneo77by santafekate,I am experienceing the same problem again. First happened in mid-August, then it resolved itself, now back again after almost two perfect months. A word of advice to all of you--don't spend a lot of time trying to "fix" your calendars, adjusting colors, etc., or following other peoples' mysterious 30-step processes for resolving the problem. It fixed itself the last time, and I'm confident the same thing will happen again. Move on to something else more worthy of your time!!!

Oct 9, 2013 1:58 PM in response to Hugh Surnameby Hugh Surname,Based on the other replies posted here, and since, Apple will likely correct the issue themselves in a few days or so. So while it is an annoyance (and more so for some others who have shared calendars, use the colors to distinguish between, and can no longer do so) it seems to be a detail not worth sweating over at this time.

Oct 9, 2013 8:22 PM in response to shaneo77by Uge,dafuq is going on
My work calendar is now PINK
it makes my eyes bleed
it is in sync between a mac mini, a mac book pro, an iPhone and an iPad.
I try to change the color on ANY of these devices and it will revert back to that funky PINK within seconds
This is ridiculous
I recommend you guys go feedbackin' on this issue there:

I sure did!

Oct 10, 2013 3:47 AM in response to shaneo77by Curiously Perplexed,Happened with our 2 iPhones and our respective shared calendars some weeks ago.. As of yesterday is happening with a relative's iPad - with whom I also share a calendar. In my opinion it is definitely an iCloud specific issue. The colours I choose revert back to colours I do not choose as soon as the calendar syncs with iCloud.

Oct 10, 2013 3:51 AM in response to shaneo77by Curiously Perplexed,...coincidentally I notice the web version of iCloud has had a bit of a recent makeover to tie in with iOS 7 launch - I notice that the colour choices have been extended substantially - in fact it would appear on the web iCloud calendar you can create any colour you like with the custom colour option - maybe this is where the issue is - some kind of conflict between the colour palette on iCloud calendar?

Oct 10, 2013 8:26 AM in response to shaneo77by Wasss,I spoke with Apple. Apparently they are in the process of upgrading the Calendar feature at this moment. They say that the problems we are facing will be gone within a week, as the upgrade is fully implemented.
As my grandmother would say, "From their lips to God's ears!

Oct 10, 2013 8:34 AM in response to Wasssby DrBunsenHoneydew,A week? Have they adopted the Microsoft product design method: roll out bad product, wait for customers to complain, fix issues, repeat.

Oct 10, 2013 10:57 AM in response to va3jmeby tallgirlnyc,This drives me insane. I have so many calendars going at once and this the ONE I share with my wife so we can know what the **** is going on in each other's lives.

Oct 10, 2013 11:33 PM in response to shaneo77by CarrieJane27,So sad that this still hasn't been resolved since the last time I posted here Quite a disappointment, to say the least, coming from Apple!
For those who have an iMac and want their calendar to look the way it used to look, don't use iCloud Calendar but use the iCal.
The iCloud Calendar looks ugly and hurts the eyes to look at!
