Thanks for the link, I double checked I am already doing all of these except for the "REDUCE MOTION".
I now have "Reduce Motion" enabled. I'm always very cognizant of the screen brightness, apps running in the background, bluetooth/wifi off when i'm not using them etc...
Thanks for the tips and link.
I'll see if the Reduce motion helps it.
Overall i'm just very unhappy with how this new iOS 7.0.2 works and looks. The UI in iOS6.1.3 had a much richer appeal and was by far a lot smoother in almost every aspect.

Another thing that will help, is to let your battery completely die out to where your phone shuts off, then let it completely charge without using it.

I tried all the "wannabe fix" I found on the net, but battery on my iPhone 5 still lasts no more than 4-5 hrs at best, while it was 6-7 with iOS 6.
For your info I tried with almost all the features off and than with almost all on, and the difference between the two configurations was 15-20 minutes.
Something is wrong with iOS 7 , but disable all the new fantastic features isn't the solution.
