Oct 10, 2013 6:31 PM in response to diana239by diana239,Thanks for all suggestions but none work. There is no edit button and swiping left to right, or right to left doesn't work. Any ideas?

Oct 10, 2013 7:12 PM in response to diana239by Diavonex,Reset iPad and try again.
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

Nov 16, 2013 4:44 PM in response to diana239by jnerren,I thought I was the only one with this problem. Ipad 2. No edit button on the TV shows screen and select not available on Videos under usage. Frustrating!

Nov 17, 2013 8:48 AM in response to jnerrenby movedtoomuch,I was having this problem, and then realized it was a different problem.
If there is a CLOUD image next to the video you are trying to delete, it means you do NOT have it on our ipad, and therefore can not delete it. Click the cloud to DOWNLOAD it. Then, the delete button will show if you swipe.
I still can not delete an entire series though.

Dec 2, 2013 4:26 PM in response to Wentlesby Demo,★HelpfulIf the shows that you are seeing in the videos app are the shows that are in iCloud and they do have the cloud icon next to them, it is very easy to remove them from the videos app.
Go to settings>iTunes & App Store>Show All>Videos>Off.

Dec 2, 2013 4:38 PM in response to Demoby Wentles,Thank you very much Demo.just one more silly question from down under about this.
Does that mean they really have been deleted and now I have some more free space on my iPad to purchase tv/ movies
-
Dec 2, 2013 4:47 PM in response to Wentlesby Demo,Those movies that appear in iCloud should not be taking up any storage capacity on your iPad whatsoever. Those videos in the cloud simply appear in the videos app in order to make it easier for you to download them again or to stream and download them again if you choose to do so.
So to answer the question is that they are no longer taking up space on the iPad - but they never really were anyway.

Dec 26, 2013 8:26 AM in response to diana239by Kate Murphy 162,I have been following this thread this afternoon as I have had the same problem on my iphone... I have now followed the last suggestion, and have managed to empty content from the videos app on my iphone. However, of course I now cannot see the music videos either.
I understand what you are saying about the TV show/movies are not actually on my iphone/ipad but in iCloud. Is there any way I can see what content is in icloud and delete from there? I thought maybe I could do this through itunes.?

Feb 21, 2014 11:26 PM in response to diana239by Nemo83,Go to your videos and swipe the show you want deleted to the left. A red delete button will appear. If you ever want to watch it again just press the cloud button.
