Now my iPad 3 is not connecting to iTunes Store. So I pulled out my iPhone 5 and hit Update All and it connected without a hitch. Same username and p/w.
What the ****?

So very strange... I've had my iPad for years and never have experienced getting this obnoxious message "cannot access iTunes Store" ..infuriating.
I can imagine how much revenue they've lost but likely dont care!
Im hoping that by simply posting, I too, will miraculously be cured. Otherwise I'm done...
Should it really be this hard??

We have a whole cart full of iPads stuck in this situation right now. Hopefully someone can get us an answer soon, we need to get Apps added for classes ASAP. So far nothing I have found anywhere fixes the problem. I can connect to tunes through the macbook pros, but iPads will not connect.

I'm having the same problem with both my iPad and iPhone. I don't see any replies posted or updated - were previous commentors able to resolve the problem? I've had both devices for over a year and have never had this problem before. It's very frustrating.

Have been up on the net. Some reports are saying that Apple Servers are down to a crawl. This may be the reason for your being unable to connect

I still can't log into app store on my iPad mini. My iPhone 5 logs in fine.

First of all, once you have upgraded your ipad to the latest version then everything seem ok but you can`t connect to itunes and so on?
Go to your Settings on your ipad and then to General then in General scroll down until you get to the bottom of the page, there you will see (Reset) click on it and the page will open.
Where it shows you (Reset All Settings) click on it.
After that your ipad will reboot then you must re-enter your Wi-Fi settings and you should be good to go after that.
iTunes,Game Center and much more will just need your password and User name.
I am very sure this will help you with your problem
All the best to you.

Hello all, I have the same problem which started today. I tried whatever was posted here with no use. I now try the miracle method that some of you experienced: after posting here it came back to life.

I have an iPad 1 which is still running iOS 5.1.1 because apple doesn't support updates for this device. About the time ios7 came out I started having similar problems. I was getting a cant find iTunes message in any app that used iTunes store and nothing would download or update. Initially I thought this was a sinister "programmed obsolescence" plot aimed at my device but then I saw in is forum that this happens with a lot of different iOS devices so I felt better. Since updating the iOS was not an option I tried a Reset All and restored from an iTunes backup on my desktop. That seems to have fixed the problem.iPad, iOS 5.1.1

Here is what I did: Created a new Apple ID.
Big hassle, but works great.
