Try a translator. Go here >  Google Translate

With Pages open select text then click Paste..

Then paste that text into the Google translate then select a language

That's fine. But what if I have to study the text in Punjabi itself ?

Like in my Mac,I have installed Anmol Lipi as an extra Punjabi font to read the text as it is.Is there any thing like this in the iPad ?

    Thanks

iOS supports the display of Unicode Gurmukhi, Devanagari, and Arabic scripts, so it should be able to display Punjabi written in any of these.  Of course for Pages the document must also be in a format which Pages can open, namely .pages, .docx, .doc, or .txt.

iOS cannot display anything written in a non-Unicode legacy Indic encoding.
