Q: How do I collapse emails from different email senders?
In outlook we can cllapse all emails by date, sender or other items. I cannot seem to find this capability in mail? Is this a feature not availble with MAC OS Mail?
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

What I mean is by collapse, is to sort all mail in the in box from the individuals or dates and collapse the group for example ... All mail recd on today would say today obviously, but then you could collapse the group to one title that's say today and there would be a number beside the word today that tells you how many emails in that group. , yesterday would, while collapsed, would also tell you how many emails were recd for that day and so on etc... Similarly I could collapse all the emails from all the senders and I could see how many emails each of the senders had sent at a glance.
Then I could expand as I wanted to. Choosing who I wanted to read emails from first.
Hope that all makes sense.
