I have a compatible Macbook (late 2009) and an iPhone 5. I can transfer files between our two iPhone 5, but my MacBook will not see my iPhone 5, nor will my iPhone 5 recognize my MacBook. What am I missing here?
AirDrop is only works Mac-to Mac and iDevice-to-iDevice, not Mac-to-iDevice.
You can't use Airdrop with your computer, as such is not supported.
really? why its called airdrop on both systems? :-(
Because it is.
That is just silly. With all that Apple can do, why are they holding back technology??
BTW, I just picked up NEST and it works great... but not being able to AIRDROP from my iPhone 5S and my Mac Book Air.. is just silly.
It is what it is. You can leave feedback for Apple here:
