Sep 1, 2013 3:38 PM in response to Tom Wolskyby B'more Will,I thought you might be interested to know that, after I spent some time on the phone with Apple support on this (and reported the difficulty on the feedback form I was sent) I did get a call from Apple, have sent them one of the 24p clips that was not importing correctly, and they are investigating. I'll let you know what I hear back from them.

Oct 12, 2013 7:03 AM in response to RLJMediaby Edward Rosenstein,Hard to believe, but this problem still hasn't been fixed by Apple. I just started using FCPX and can't import P2 card/MXF media either. I'm shooting an HVX200 at 1080/24. The only solution I can see if to log and transfer in FCP7, then import the files into FCPX. That's a rediculous workflow.

Oct 14, 2013 5:43 PM in response to Edward Rosensteinby RLJMedia,Hi All,
I did some testing and find that Final Cut 10.0.9 and the audo will only cut out on 1080/24p and 1080/24pa. All other recording setting work without cutting the audio out.
Also. the audio is only cut out for about 10 minutes than comes back on longer recording.
What will Apple do.
Steve!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need you back!!!!!!!!!!!

Nov 18, 2013 10:29 AM in response to RLJMediaby NOVAStudio,I've been struggling with the same issues. Same camera (HVX200), but I'm shooting SD at 24PA. I imported everything from the camera into FCP 7, then I imported the capture files into FCPX and I have audio!
Seems like a pain-the-butt workaround. Waiting for an update to get it work properly.

Solved the issue by importing into FCP 7 first.

Nov 18, 2013 12:36 PM in response to NOVAStudioby RLJMedia,Fix my be on its way.
I have been contacted by apple support and submtted test footage of the auido problem. They are looking into the problem now. It has been about three week since I submitted the test P2 footage in different formats.
A solution should be available once they figure it out.
