I believe you are still given the intermediary pane though, not straight to System Report...
I could be wrong.

That's normal behavior, but you didn't say it went to the profiler after clicking on More Info, that's why I posted. What else did you expect to find in the About My Mac pane? It gives OS version, build number, serial number, processor info, instgalled RAM, and boot volume name,
