I couldn't agree more. I have an ipad for everyday use, an iphone for mobile use and all I want is as much music as possible on my ipod touch. Valuable space is taken up with apps for stocks, weather, passbook, maps, calculator, etc. etc. I am furious about this. From now on I need to reconsider android devices.
Furious? Seriously? The average app takes up about 23 mb of space. So you have two or three fewer songs. Hardly seems worth getting even mildly miffed. Definietly doesn't seem worth creating and account resurrecting a thread that's been dead for more than two years. You generally can't remove pre-installed apps on Android phones, either.
