Q: AirPort Extreme eMac
How do you connect a eMac to AirPort Extreme and do i need a certain version of AirPort Extreme?
I have bought second hand eMac g4 1ghz for my son.

Don't order just yet.
The first eMacs used original Airport cards; later models used Airport Extreme. It's important to preciesly identify your eMac variant before buying a card that may not work. If yours is a 1gHz model you probably need the Extreme card, not the "original" linked in the other post.
Use this Apple article that lets you look up your eMac variant by serial number:

In the chart in the article, only the eMacs in the bottom section of the chart use the original Airport card. A 1Ghz eMac is most likely the "eMac (ATI Graphics)." Although rare, there were also some "eMac (USB 2.0)" models build only for the education market with 1ghz processors instead of the more common 1.25ghz processor.
So don't go buy an "original' Aiprort card until you figure out your exact eMac model.
