Oct 21, 2013 11:44 AM in response to xpmrzby ds store,★HelpfulThere is likely OS X data on the bottom portion of the partition that is preventing it from being shrunk.
What you can do is clone, boot from the clone and reverse clone your Macintosh HD partition, this will shift all data up (and totally defragment and optimize), freeing space and allowing for creation of a partition below it, which must start from the bottom and work up until it hits MacintoshHD data.

Oct 22, 2013 7:36 AM in response to ds storeby xpmrz,First thanks for your help. I read the link you gave. I will consider this solution, I cant do it now since it seems a long and complicated process and on top of all and i dont have an external hard drive which is enough space to clone.
I will try to live with this, or perhaps find a professional to do this function.
