    Tess,

Making idle threats like that in a USER to USER forum (where Apple has no presence) accomplishes nothing other than to make you look somewhat foolish.

Feedback to Apple goes here:  http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

Since downloading ios7 my phone is basically screwed in every conceivable way you can think of. I went online and followed all the instructions to switch of certain attributes because ios7 is power hungry. I took the final step and made an appointment to get it fixed at the apple store regent street.

The assistant could not switch on wifi to begin her tests. She explained that I was not forced to download the new ios7 and had a choice. I explained that loyal customers such as myself put our TRUST in apple which is why over the past 3 years if there were new software, we would download immediately because of trust. Basically she, or should I say the company stance is, apple are now big enough to survive without loyal customers and they can treat them with the utmost contempt.

She did say that if I forked out £150 then I could have a new phone. I said why am I having to pay for a new phone when the problem with my present iPhone 4S was cause by apples new iOS software.

Because of the company stance I have decided to never buy another iphone again. If this is the disgracefull way they treat loyal customers then it's time to go. Disgracefull behaviour.

It's just a phone. Good one. But the company stance is one of contempt and greed

I must add that it's not foolish to air your views or let of steam. But it is rude to insinuate that someone is foolish because they wish to share their thoughts and views. Regardless of the platform being used. And by the way. Apple are well aware of my views and complaints. The problem for me is that they must of known the effect the the new ios7 would have on certain phones.

So they weighed up the losses ad gains and still decided to go ahead. Falling back on the hope that blind followers would still buy iphone even after the way they have been treated. It's an iphone but it's less of an iphone now because of the companies contempt of its customers

This is a user-to-user technical support forum. You are entitled to your opinions about Apple but expressing them here is inappropriate.

    Best of luck.

I'm experiencing the same identical problem. Since I upgraded to IOS7 wi-fi stopped working. Chip Mac address is no more identified by system and I can't activate wi-fi, slide isn't available.
    Before upgrading everything worked well
