Best quote "ios 7 is not as bad as Windows 8". I'd agree with that but that is nothin to brag about.

I've had no problems with it thus far. It's introduced a number of features that I truly like. I really like the way it looks. There are a few inconsistent UI elements that I would change, e.g. adding a new note in Notes should be more like adding a new reminder in Reminders. But, as I don't actually use Notes, I can live with the now anachronistic "+".

    Best of luck.

"After iOS 7 was released, some iOS 6 users discovered that as much as 3gb of storage was being used up by an automated over-the-air download of iOS 7.

For many users, this was handy because they didn't need to wait for a large download to complete before updating -- but for those who wish to remain with iOS 6, they have found multiple gigabytes of storage used up by a software update that they will never use, with no way to free up that space."

One user in California has filed suit in small-claims court against Apple.

Somehow I can imagine why this guy is doing it.

As long time fanboy I was unhappy with 7 on a 4

and bought a fresh 4s/iOS6 to get my iPhone feel back

there was however an extra price to pay

the update is waiting on your phone and now

it shows up as 2,56Gb other memory on my 4s/16Gb

a memory loss of 16%, but if you own a 8Gb it would mean 32%.

2nd line Apple support was really supportive but couldn't

offer help to reverse it and free up the space,

they only made an official report "client is highly inconvenienced..."

If you thought that you had enough space left and don't want to upgrade

you either already lost memory or you have to quickly fill it up with stuff

    you can delete yourself,

a highly user unfriendly and unApple solution

and if you don't agree only meagre thing to do is leave feedback.

I got tired of looking at and trying to use ios7. I went on ebay and bought a used 4s with 6.1.3. When recieving it I plugged it to the computer and without my consent it started the download. So I did a reset and this time doing what others sugested disabling internet to computer and letting phone activate using cell service. I then filled the thing up with mostly video ranging in size from 500mb to 1gig that I can remove as space is needed. Now the other 4s I will use to test the latest crap from Apple as it is released.

This was not a solution I like though as 7 really runs too slow and is laggy on the 4s. And the ipad I will fill it up to prevent the download also.

Is it even legal for Apple to force download something on someone?

I really don't see what all the fuss is about. I've moved back to my iPhone 4 having left IOS for Android on an HTC - the phone definitely has no less battery life and the entire IOS experience has been brought up to date. Guys, you can't just keep everything the same in perpetuity!

If Apple don't move IOS onwards, your beloved Apple will fall prey to (god forbid) Windows Phone (shudder!). Perhaps it's the iPhone 5 ... I can't comment on that ... but the iPhone 4 runs IOS like a charm.

I'm sold on it for both business and social use.

What I find absolutely hilarious is the "new look" of iOS 7, and how all the subsequent apps are changing. Some apps are simply removing any dimension, color, and style and giving just text on a blank white screen—and this called an improvement! It's hilarious! It's like the Emperor with no clothes: the new look has stripped off all aesthetics, and there's the loyal court saying, "Wow, nice look!"

Sorry. This is either called non-design—or laziness.

....take for instance the new Drudge Report app that came out today. The headlines have been stripped of bold, color, etc. that was used to differentiate various headlines. It's now generic text on a white screen. This is just absurd, a step backwards. Human beings don't speak in monotone; why would we design in monotone?

It's one thing for iOS7 to create a minimialistic, bland interface. It's another thing for app designers to have to follow in step, stripping their previous designs of all astethics. Sure, some like the new "look", if it can be called that. But I'd exchange "moving wallpaper" and "zooming icons" anyday for a less stark, easier to read, more pleasing to the eye interface.

The Emperor is naked; there's nothing to cheer about here.

That post makes no sense even in Portuguese

The edited repost makes even less sense, and is completely off topic in this thread.

"RESTORE THE DEVICE" does not uninstall iOS 7 and is not an answer at all.  Posting misinformation like that only makes matters worse.

Why do you care?  You haven't participated or contributed anything other than whining about what others do.
