Q: Iphoto Text

When I send a Journal under iOS 7.0 on my ipad2, the 'text box' does not appear, only the captioned photos? This has worked properly in the past. Could itbe a 7.0 problem? Thanks for any help.

Which Sharing option are you using to send the Journal? iTunes? iCloud?

Jack, with iCloud sharing I am seeing exactly the same. When I publish a journal as a webpage, only the photos, captions, and widgets like temperature will transfer. The textboxes are missing.

And I see no option how to fix this.

I am publishing my journals from an iPad 3, IOS 7.0.2.

Leonie, just got off the phone with Apple Support. Went through 4 people. The last one tried it on his iPad with the same result. Everything comes through but the contents of the text box. Definitely a bug. He'll report it to 'Engineering' and will get back to me in about a week(?). I'll be happy to post the result. Thank you for responding

Have been travelling for several weeks, submitting a journal each week. Today for the first time the journal published without the text box. Makes it a bit senseless ? Hope its a simply bug to fix.

The current iPhoto version is incompatible with the iCloud features of IOS 7.0.2. I am sure, we will see updates to iPhoto soon, as soon as the new MacOS X version will be released.

Leonine, I downloaded 7.0.3 today and apparently this bug has been fixed. I received no notification but it seems to be working fine. Please let me know if it works for you.
