Oct 22, 2013 9:48 AM in response to scrihfieldby randers4,Try going to Settings>iCloud and turn off Find My iPhone, then turn it back on. Also confirm that you can go to a secure website on your device (such as https://appleid.apple.com). This will confirm that port 443 is open, which is required for Find My iPhone.

Oct 22, 2013 10:13 AM in response to scrihfieldby randers4,To eliminate your wifi from the equation, try turning wifi offon your phone do it is only connected via cellular, the see if it appears online when you check from your iPad.
