Q: Messages hangs after deleting thread

Hi Experts

After upgradring my iPhone 4S to iOS 7 (now running 7.0.2) I have experienced an issue with Messages. If I delete an entire thread it seems that the message app is hanging for a couple of minutes. Other times I can only see a couple of threads in the message app after deleting a thread - then when selecting a thread a lot of the messages are missing. Then after a while all threads and messages are back again.

Now I have just made a backup to iTunes and then made a reset (Content and settings). I restored my backup from iTunes again but the issue still occurs. Additionally I now have 53 unread mails that was deleted long ago not really sure why the are suddenly appearing in the Inbox again?

Any ideas?
