Mouse

So I just finished upgraind and every so often my keyboard and mouse don't work. The pointer won't move and I can't type anything. I just have to wait (15-20 seonds) and then it will work again. I know they are still getting power because my iPhone is still charging from my keyboard.

Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?

Thanks!

Spencer

I was just going to add that. I download the most recent version of the Control Center and it said that it was incompatible with this version of OS X. So I stopped using my Logitech mouse (turned off and unplugged USB) and started using the Apple Magic Mouse. We'll see if the problems stop . . .

P.S. Using the Magic Mouse has made me realize once again why I stopped.

I followed post #10's instructions as well. So far I have gone 30 min without the keyboard or mouse becoming unresponsive.

I'll try installing LCC 3.8 tomorrow and see if that version fixes this issue. All my function key shortcuts aren't working at the moment (launch iTunes, volume +/-, ...) and it would be nice to have those. I'm willing to give those up temporarily to at least have a keyboard and mouse that works. 🙂

Its happening again. It seems to be happening whenever I go down to the dock and change applications. The mouse freezes as does the keyboard. I did just go to the Logitech webstie and they have updated their Control Center preference to work with Mvaericks so I'm going to install that and see if it works!

I still haven't installed the Logitech Control Centre. I am using my Logitech keyboard as a generic keyboard. It allows me to use my keyboard, albeit without any of the logitech specific keys/functions.

Doing this, I haven't had it freeze up since Tuesday. I think Logitech still needs to work on their drivers before I'm going to try installing it again.
