I have installed 10.9 just a few hours ago and I do not see the mirroring icon in my menu bar. I guess this may be the same limitations that did not put airplay on the mbp mid-2010 when it appeared in 10.8 for other newer macs.
i will be happy if somebody can prove me wrong, please do it!
Nope..
Multiple Display with Apple TV and an HDTV works with Apple TV (2nd generation or newer), iMac (mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Pro (early 2011 or newer), and Mac Pro (late 2013)
Not natively. But you can using a third party extension called AirParrot.
Trure!
I'm using Airparrot software for extend screen, but for play movies from my MB on ATV i found a nice program here:
This works on my Mid-2010 MBP! Thank you. Best $9.99 I've spent in years...
Not only does AirParrot work on my 2010 MBP, but it also works for my wife's 2007 White Macbook. Cheers!
