Q: iOS 7 keep turned off my iCloud settings and asking my password

Hi,

I upgrade to iOS 7 the day before yesterday. Everything's fine until yesterday's morning. When I received a text message, I found it's shown under the tel number, rather than names from my contact list. Then I found all my setting in iCloud were turned off. I turned them on, and everything's fine after that. But today, it turned off all my settings again and stars to keep asking me sign-in my iCloud account. I checked my iCloud account settings, it seems correct for me. I can correctly get all the informations from iCloud. But it just keep asking my passwords...

Any ideas about this?

Thanks very much in advance,

Had a chat with Apple Support Team on their website and I linked the tech guy to this thread. What he told me are just all the steps that I've done before. He said he will pass this case to a Senior Advisor to look at. Hope his Senior Advisor will read all this and resolve the problem soon.

Today, all my notes, contacts, reminders are gone. Find My iPhone turned off again. So I had to rinse repeat all the step to reenable them LOL.

Got this email quickly after a chat with the Apple Tech guy, here it is:

I looked further into this issue, and it seems that people are experincing this issue if they delete the backup of their device on iCloud, to resolve this backing it up to iCLoud again should resolve this.

I've already did this but will give it another shot. Will post back soon.

I have never deleted my backup on iCloud. I still get the problem. So this cannot be related.

Actually, I don't think that related with the problem, although I gave that solution a try my way.

I manually deleted every app, data, documents backed up on my iCloud account, each everyone of them to make the backup size down to zero. After that, I performed the backup again. Let's see how long will this last lol

iOS 7.0.3 is out, go download and test if the bug still exist. There is no mention of this bug being in the fix but Apple does update and fixes other bugs without puitting them in the release note's. Good luck!

I don't see an update yet.

But I'm new to this thread and have the same common elements.  4S and iPad2...CoC and Hay Day...Game Center logouts and repeated requests for login, which fail continuously if done from within the apps.  If I leave and go directly to the Game Center App and try, I can eventually get logged in.

I don't use iCloud to backup anything so haven't experienced those issues.

Don't need to put your hopes high on Apple, nothing in the description update did mention anything related to our problem. I don't think they will focus on iPhone 4/4S anymore. iPhone 5 is already an old iPhone category, and iPhone 4/4S is a piece of trash. They will only enchance on 5/5S.

Since the hope i put on 7.0.1 til now, just dissapointed.

No help from 7.0.3 for me. After update with iCloud backup on my 4S started asking the password once again. I agree with others that iCloud backup seems to be causing problems.

    I went

    1.) Setting > General > Reset > Reset All Content & Settings

    2.) Upgraded to iOS 7.0.3

3.) Startup with new iCloud Device without turning on Find My iPhone

4.) Deleted old & made a new iCloud Backup

I'll be back if anything goes wrong or right.

I understand your point. However, Apple is still selling iPhone 4s as a brand new phone, unlike iPhone 5. iPhone 4s is not at end-of-sales, so definitely it should not be already at end-of-support.

I wasnt saying that was a solution to stop it but mostly the cuase of it for turning it off.

Now release 7.0.3, I turned back on iCloud, made a backup via iCloud, kept Passport disabled bc i don't use it, I kept iCloud Backup on, went to Software Update and updated and waited about 10-15mins.

So far, I have kept iCloud Backup on, and I have not run into any issues from the iCloud tab, the only thing I see which is odd to me, is when Settings is not open like close the app out from multitask, go back into Settings>iCloud and watch "Find My iPhone" from disabled to Enabled, why it does that, I have no idea and I noticed that in 7.0.2 few weeks later after being released.

Lots of improvements and others like alittle change on the home screen on your main 4 apps, some changes to the notifications on lockscreen. (not the scroll down NFCNs)

If it occures again, then I would turn off my iCloud Backup bc after only just turning that off besides Passport, I hadn't had any probllems with it since the last few days posting what i did that day.

PS. they wont discontinue support for the iPhone 5 bc we still have iPod Touch 5, besides the 5C/5S.. and they will still support iPod Touch 5 once iPod Touch 6 comes out next year. (iPod Touches every 2 years)

And by then, we will have iOS 8 and maybe iOS 9 if the hardware RAM/CPU can support it.

But will there be one? we just have to wait and see google results by Febuary/April/May/June of 2014

check out iMore & I know one other site i can't think of at the moment but they have the most accurect info for stuff like that for years
