Oct 23, 2013 8:54 AM in response to Andres Hidalgoby chattphotos,Try checking your time zone settings.
A similar error happened to me in Mountain Lion. I returned to the USA from Europe, the time zone was still set on CET, but I was in the Eastern Time zone. iMessage did not like that at all.

Oct 23, 2013 10:07 AM in response to Andres Hidalgoby xafar,I have exactly the same issue, since Mavericks upgrade on my MBP (mid 2012 15") I can't login to iMessages & FaceTime as it endlessly tries to login, and never succeeds. If anyone finds a solution, please do let me know.

Oct 23, 2013 6:10 PM in response to Andres Hidalgoby gmdavis9,I have the same problem. Unable to sign into both services from MBP.
I thought signing out/in of iCloud would help. Now I can't sign back into iCloud. To make it worse, I just switched from an iPhone, and can't log in to remove my number from iMessage. Now all my iFriends messages are hijacked by iMessage.

Oct 24, 2013 7:53 AM in response to Andres Hidalgoby i-lied,I'm having similar issues. Soometimes I can get past the sign in screen but once that happens it remains inactive. Looking at other posts, it's a bug that has been there from the beginning and Apple don't appear to have fixed it in the Developer Previews...

I won't log out from iCloud considering many got problems trying to sign in again.

Oct 24, 2013 7:20 PM in response to Andres Hidalgoby VisualPro,Updated to Mavericks as well from Mountain Lion....
I have spent most of this afternoon working on the signin issue with facetime and iMessage with Apple support. We have tried many of the recommendations like reset NVPRAM, making sure your time zone / time is correct on mac, create new user, removing NetworkInterfaces.plist, removing iCloud account and turning it on again, safemode, reinstall Mavericks over top again, changing apple ID password, deleting key chain enteries, etc.... the list goes on. Nothing has helped. FYI my account works fine on my other macs, just not my MBP. Weird.
I would be interested if anyone can look at their system.log and get a snippet of the log when you try to log in. Mine looks like this:

My next step is to backup my data and do a clean install.... I am hoping there is a fix before I pull the pin and do this.
