I upgraded to the latest version of iPhoto released yesterday, and then I synced with my iPod. iTunes send a second copy of every photo to my iPod, so instead of 10 GB, my photos now take up 20 GB on my iPod. So I tried removing all photos by unsyncing photos with my iPod, but the 20 GB still remains on my iPod Touch.

How can I clear all photos from my iPod Touch to regain this space, then I can re-sync them again later?

Mac mini (Late 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4), 2.3 GHz i7, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD
